What is Night Owl Groceries?
Have you ever worked late into the twilight hours? Tinkering away at some project or game until, "Oh wow! It's already 12am!". You realize you're hungry, but all that's left in the house to eat are unhealthy options. You want fresh fruit and veg, but none of the grocery stores are open at this hour. There's only the gas station down the street, and they're not much better than your pantry. That's where Night Owl Groceries would come into play.
The grocery store that's only open from 10pm to 6am, to meet all of your healthier late night cravings.

Logo Animation
With such a striking mascot, I knew I wanted to animate a segment for them. The hardest part of this animation was the fact that I was unable to use as many references for anatomy. Unlike with the logos, where I could directly reference or trace an actual photo of an owl. I was of course, still using references where I could, but the majority of the work to make the flying itself realistic looking would fall directly upon my shoulders.
Potential Product
While Night Owl would be health focused first, that doesn't mean they wouldn't know how to have fun. There's nothing that says night life quite like a Buzzball in my opinion, so I felt it opt to create some packaging that reflected that.
I felt their strange round shape and ability for fun packaging would allow for some realistic creativity. I then came up with a list of names that were Owl related, to make some fun flavors. These final 4 were the flavor names I decided on. Nightshade Nectar, Pellet Punch, Mouse Mimosa, and Hoot a Colada.
I also edited long versions of these bottles, as I felt it would be fun to attempt at making an owl out of one.
